UFC 172 Predictions
UFC 172 is fast approaching, and looks set to be a great mixed martial arts event. The main event features Jon Jones vs Glover Teixeira for the Light Heavyweight crown.
Here are our predictions for the main card at UFC 172;
Max Holloway vs Andre Fili
These guys are near carbo copies of each other. They both have excellent mixed martial arts skills and look for them to duke it out in the centre of the octagon.
In my opinion Fili has the slight edge and is coming out of a tough camp at Team Alpha Male.

Jim Miller vs. Yancy Medeiros
Yancy Medeiros gets a great opportunity here to make a name for himself against the tough Jim Miller. However, he has taken this fight on short notice.
Miller has decent striking, but is far better on the ground. That’s where he’ll look to take the fight and he should be about to score the victory.

Luke Rockhold vs. Tim Boetsch
Luke Rockhold is a beast. He is the former strikeforce middle weigth champion and had an impressive TKO victory over Costa Phillippou in his last fight.
Boetsch is a good fighter but I don’t think he has the skills to beat Rockhold.

Phil Davis vs. Anthony Johnson
Johnson is a dangerous striker but has always struggled against decent wrestlers.
Unfortunately for him Mr. Wonderful is an excellent wrestler and will look to exploit this weakness Johnsons game.

Jon Jones vs. Glover Teixeira
Teixeira is a dangerous opponent and a powerful striker but Jones has beaten better.
Jones has a significant height and reach advantage and has used these well in the past to dominate his opponents. Look for him to do the same again here.
