The older I get the more I realise how important flexibility is. Flexibility helps prevent injuries, increases your power, improves your technique, and a whole host of other things.
A while ago, I learned some incredibly beneficial stretches from my buddy and the head bendy person at Elite Flexibility Rob Najar. Rob’s a big guy and to look at him you wouldn’t guess he’s very flexible but looks can be deceiving and Rob is one of the most flexible people I’ve met.
Anyway, Rob just posted this video an 8 min video that outlines his method for improving hamstring flexibility. Check it out below
Rob first showed me this stretch back in 2014 and I instantly felt the benefit in my hamstrings and back. Since then, I’ve made it a regular part of my training and have seen big improvements in my flexibility.
If hamstring flexibility or back pain is something you struggle with I’d highly recommend practicing this stretch.
